Alan Reid

Alan Reid has been running successful travelling discotheques for over 20 years, and has been seen at the best parties throughout London, the Country, and around the World!

Educated at Rugby School and after a brief career with Coutts & Co. (D.J.'ing at Weekends) it was in 1979 that he became professional and has not looked back since!! He was instrumental in the forming of Joffin's Travelling Discotheques in the late '70s with Jonathan Seaward, and has worked extensively abroad and has been sub-contracted to, amongst others, Hilton, Sheraton and Inter-Continental Hotels, in such diverse locations as Dusseldorf in W. Germany; Montreal, Canada; Stockholm, Sweden; Dubai, U.A.E. and Cairo, Egypt.

Alan further extended his experience via a host of U.K. night clubs, and has been employed by the largest operators in this country, including Rank Leisure, First Leisure and European Leisure, to name a few!

When KARAOKE came around in the early 1990's, Alan was at the forefront of the craze, and he still has a full professional CD and CDG system that can be run with or without the Discotheque.

Alan has been back at the helm of Joffins since 1994 and has recently completed the busiest Christmas period in the Company's history.

Jonathan Seaward

Jonathan Seaward formed his own band, Joffins, in the early 70's, but it was in 1979, as the discotheque phenomenon was hitting the headlines, that Joffins Travelling Discotheques was founded.

Through Jonathan's dedication and determination, Joffins soon became one of the market leaders, and has attained an enviable reputation established through the 80's and 90's.

While he doesn't actually go 'out on the road' himself any longer, Jonathan takes an active interest in the day-to-day running of the Business.
